LINE DEVELOPER DAY is an annual conference for developers hosted by LINE.
The conference delves into issues related to new technologies and development, and the main topic for 2016 –bots and API— was delivered as a visual message.
The main visual design was a combination of basic, regular geometric shapes representing the importance of a structured logic, combined with a polygonal module depicting an API and bot software development kit. The use of striking color contrasts and overlap of material allowed visitors to perceive the event concept throughout the venue.
Furthermore, smartphones were leveraged to ensure high user engagement from beginning to end, from inviting visitors to sign in at reception with their phones, to distributing digital novelty items and conducting online surveys.
